Menorca Boat Tours

The south-coast classic — 4.6/5 from 1,177 reviews, $105 — anchors in calas the cars can't reach; Fornells runs the wild north when the wind allows. And if licence-free hire is your plan: the exemption for rental boats ends October 1, 2026. This is the honest map of Menorca's water.

How a Boat Day Works

Four steps from booking to the first swim stop.

  1. Pick Route and Port

South-coast calas from Galdana or Cala'n Bosch, the wild north from Fornells, or Mahón's great harbour — the comparison sorts it by trip shape.

  2. Let the Wind Choose Sides

Tramuntana blowing? The south coast is in shelter — which is why most routes run there. Calm day? The north is Menorca's secret.

  3. Board With Nothing to Prove

Skippered tours need no licence, ever. Licence-free self-hire lives inside a 5m/15hp daylight box — and that box closes for rentals on October 1, 2026.

  4. Swim Where Cars Can't

Macarella is car-banned all summer and Turqueta's car park fills by 9am — from the deck, that is somebody else's problem.

Five Routes, Five Kinds of Day

The south-coast classic, the Cala'n Bosch budget run, the northern wild coast, the sunset cruise and the family snorkel boat (great for families) — all skippered, all free-cancellation.

Menorca’s best coastline stopped being drivable — Macarella is car-banned all summer, Turqueta gates its road by mid-morning — which quietly made the boats the island’s main event. This site maps the fleet honestly: which route fits which day, which port you should leave from, the south-coast classic (4.6/5 from 1,177 reviews, $105) that anchors where the car parks surrender, and — while it lasts — the licence-free hire option whose legal window closes on October 1, 2026.

Travelling with kids? The family boat tour with snorkeling (4.9/5 from 213 reviews, $70) is the fleet’s highest-rated route — great for families, with gear and a pace built for children.

Looking for the Mallorca ferry instead? Half of “boat trip” searches are — the crossings, without an upsell.

What Passengers Say

4.6/5 from 1177 verified guests

"We loved the tour! The beaches we stopped at and the time we spent at each one, the friendliness of the captain, and the freedom they gave us on the boat. Everything was very well organized, from the meeting point to the punctuality and communication with the company. I recommend this tour."

Lara Portugal

"As constructive criticism, I would focus on the entrance method. A lot of information about the meeting point, but then it's useless because you have to figure it out and ask around. Actually, the pick-up location is about 50 meters from the meeting point. It wouldn't take any effort, and you could provide the user with a flag, a t-shirt with your name... Something that draws attention."

roberto Spain

"Great time. The boat was nice, and we saw beautiful beaches and were able to enjoy the water. Highly recommended experience."

Hassouni France

"Amazing from beginning to end!! The capitan is fantastic, the boat is clean and very comfortable and the stops to swim are just perfect. He always makes sure to share information about the different areas and the stories and is super kind and attentive. We definitely recommend 100% and if we go back to Menorca we will do it again!"

Marta United States

"A perfect day, totally recommended if you want to enjoy the most beautiful coves without stress."

Andres Quiñonero Spain

"Very good with 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 9 years old), 3 stops instead of two (Cala Turqueta, Cala Mitjana, and Cala Trebaluger), not counting the visits to the other coves and a little aperitif... everyone had a pleasant time."

Le France

"Great! We explore all the calas on a boat big enough for 12, and we stop several times to swim. Paddleboards, masks, and snorkels are available. It's great!"

Charline France

"A great morning with Joel as the skipper, a lovely person, and a wonderful group! Highly recommended! Thank you very much, Joel, for your kindness and for making us have a great time!"
